Where have all the morons gone?

Okay, so I had plans with about five different people today. Suddenly by stroke of fate, none of them are free.

I don't blame Jason for not being free because of his desire to rule over homecoming with an iron fist (and to be fair we didn't have plans anyway). But the other stories are interesting...

A couple of my friends said they would be free come 7 tonight. I found out at 4:30 this afternoon that they are actually going to some sort of party together. I think they said something about a family party yet they are related in no way. Go figure THAT one... but better yet is RALPH's story...

Apparently today he went to Illinois for his haircut (don't ask), so his mother drove him down there in the morning. She apparently neglected to tell him that they weren't coming back. That's right, they had a family gathering to go to. She didn't tell him before she left and now he won't be home until who knows when. Isn't that great parenting?

I saw the best shirt EVER yesterday at Hot Topic. No, I won't tell you what it said. It would ruin the joke as I plan to get it eventually and show you all in person.

But what to do with my Saturday night now? Well, perhaps I'll go harass Paul...

a word of note

i didn't really tell you about the double date. i'm not supposed to know. it's a suprise. (why did i blog it?)

i just got home from work. good gravy. i really hate mcdonald's, but i enjoy the people's company. most of them, anyway. i hate you, tiff.

i added the title field to the posts, so we can say little tidbits leading to what we say. or just spout random things. whatever works.

so i finished spy dance today at work on my lunch break. it was okay. it got better once i was past the middle. but GRAVY, it was boring in the second quarter of the book. i feel better now that it's over. ;) now i need a new book. figures that it happens on a friday. see, the public library a couple miles from my house is open til 9 on the weekdays, 5 on fridays and saturdays, and is closed all day on sundays. of course i don't get off work until 5:30 on fridays. of course, i still have no idea what i want to read anyhoo. something steven king or anne rice. but the library doesn't have the first vampire chronicle book (its anne rice selection is very limited as it is), and its stephen king section isn't that great either. i wanted to read the langoliers, but they don't have that. so i'm thinking maybe the stand.
